Biblical Test--You must respond with your answers

OK, I initiated this blog in order to be able to share Christ with those who would read. It's obvious that my readers are few and far between. So here's the deal. I'm going to post some Biblical questions and I want you to answer them. I also want you to tell at least one other person about this blog and have them answer the question also. I will announce the winner--'s as quickly as I feel all that is going to respond have responded. I'm hoping that by asking these questions, you will have to open your bible to find the answers and by doing so, you learn and I get to know more people. DEAL? Here goes, your first of many Biblical Questions:

1. Who was Israel's first High Priest? Who were his parents? Who was his sister?
Who was his wife? Who were his sons? What happened to his two oldest sons?
Was this man allowed to enter the promised land? Where did he die and at what age?

2. Who did you ask to check out these questions? Did they follow your leadership?

Please be as precise and directly to the point in your answers. We will announce the winner at some time in the future after several questions have been ask.

I must say that I feel I do have an unfair advantage since I just completed an old testament class. (Of which I did receive an A) However, I will gladly be your first responder and hope to gain extra credit.

Aaron, the brother of Moses was Israel's first high priest. He was the son of Amram and Jochebed. His sister was Miriam. His wife was Elisheba and they had four sons named Eleazar, Ithamar, Nadab, and Abihu. The latter of the two (Nadab and Abihu) were actually consumed by fire on the very day that Aaron became high priest. They apparently offered incense in an unlawful manner and God struck them dead. His other two sons (Eleazar and Ithamar) later became priests.

Aaron and Moses became impatient and did not obey what God told them to do. God commanded them to "speak" to the rock in order to get water for their people. In their impatience, Moses struck the rock with his rod which resulted in their disobedience to God. For this reason, neither Aaron nor Moses were allowed to enter the promised land. Aaron died at the age of 123 at Mount Hor.

I'm not sure what you mean in #2. I asked my husband the question. I'm not sure what you mean by "did they follow your leadership". If you are asking about him checking out the site, he has not yet (since he is on the train), but he will as he always does.

Aaron, from Tribe of Levi, was Israel's 1st high priest. Parents were Amram and Jochebed.
Sister: Miriam
Wife: Elisheba
Sons: Nabab, Abihu, Eleazar, Ithamar
2 oldest sons, Nadab and Abihu consumed by fire for bringing a strange fire offering before God.
Aaron did not enter the Promised Land. He died on Mt. Hor at the age of 123 after being stripped of his garments by Moses. It is also mentioned that he died in Moserah, in Deut. 10:6, but, Mt. Hor is correct.

I haven't had an opportunity to ask anyone to look at this yet, but, I will.

I truly did look these answers up myself.

ummmm, I was going to say 'ditto' to Lisa's answer (she DID take the OT class, ya know), but since you say neither of them is correct.....I will work on it and get back to you-----is there a prize involved or just the satisfaction of being right? Cause I am more motivated by the tangible ya know.

I am posting this on my blog in case anyone wants in on it.
